How many movies are making big in every year in the telugu industry?
Why do you think telugu film industry is in such a bad shape at the moment ??
Is Piracy really effecting the film makers ??

Megastar : When my son ( charan) came to me after magadheera's success - he asked , dad what should be my next project ? . Then i replied to him saying - you have lot of expectations on you now and you should do the film for your fans only , forget about subject but your fans should like this .fans are everything for us !!!
Bull shit !!!! , he means to say that 5 songs , 3 fights , 2-3 romantic scenes and a comedy track for a movie ... How long this formula will continue like this ?????? .
They don't seem to understand the fact that telugu industry is in all time low levels ( in terms of number hits and of course money returns too !! ) . They are putting the blame on piracy , Hence you observe in any audio release or some other function they are repeating the same thing NO PIRACY and STOP PIRACY. But i strongly oppose this - since a really good movie will pull the crowd to theaters than buying a pirated copy. ( may be too much to say but i would like to see avatar/inception in theaters 100 times than watching it in my house with pirated copy - with very bad quality !!! )
If we take example of tamil/mallu film industry , they are 10 times better than the telugu film standards. They do lot of experiments - don't we have a single director / hero who is willing to do experiments ?? . If we take any big names in Indian film industry you will be surprised to here those names - most of them are from tamil industry and they are setting benchmark for others to follow .
They are many such people , who are ready to take different challenges - They seems to be very little worried about there stardom and the image they have got . Which was lacking in telugu industry .we can almost predict the story all most every time and this has to change .
Lets take vikram , he started his career in telugu and because of our internal politics and ......he shifted to chennai and all of us know how big he became later and you can expect some special from his movies.He has grown up as an actor but we are still jumping from buildings and helicopters its quite irritating now.
I don't deny the fact that we have very talented people like radha krishna , shekar kammula ,etc , they are making good movies too!! but they have very little options in terms of adding technical values with the directional skills they have got ( Paisa boss paisaa !!! ) . If big producers are ready to work with these people it will make wonders to the telugu film industry ( Of course they have to come up with such script).
Time has come to re discover the talent , which provided us the great movies like mayabazaar , keelu gurram, narthanashaala last but the least "DaanaVeeraSuraKarna " ( its amazing how the legend NTR has done that many roles in a record time ... hats off !! )
Upcoming directors / people who want to take this profession should learn from the mistakes and please please make good movies ( Ramesh Eligeti - i hope you are reading this !! , People who are not aware him , he is Asst Director dropped out of TCS ! lets wish him All the Best )

I am not getting ,why people always try to criticize Chiru only. Telugu cinema means not only Chiru ,lot of other heros also there. He can stop his son or his brother only but not all telugu film Industry. No one can stop the producers to do meaningful movies, the fact is producers are fearing to do those type of movies.
ReplyDeleteJust think How many of us saw the Prasthanam movie in Theaters , don't say "Its not showing in my city". How many of us knows about "andari banduvaya", "me sreyobilashi". Do you know "1947 oka uri katha" got national awards but producer did n't have money to release that movie in theaters. Later Bellamkonda suresh released that movie with his own money and given publicity like any thing in those one week. Then also he did n't get 10% of his money. This is happened in 2010 only. Not only this movie,lot of telugu movies are getting awards but not getting rewards(like grahanam, sira...and vedam also commercial flop).
People doesn't have any interest on seeing this type of movies. This is only the reason for The great Purnodaya movies has stopped making movies.
Now about Chiru comments :
Charan is just 2 movie old fellow. With out getting any following in the crowd , how he can do experiments. Now he is just making his audiance and want to retain his father audience by doing regular movies first(I dont think it is wrong, all these fan following is after all his dad's 30 yrs hard work). Let him sell his face first to the audience and later he will get a chance to do experiments. Like any father Chiru also wants his son career should n't be in trouble on doing commercially doubtful movies. Even kamal hasan also did lot of stupid movies in his early days of his career.
Its not about chiru or xyz ... I took it as an example only !! And its not about a person with 2 movie exp or something else ..its about the thinking attitude of the people who are part of the industry for some time ..
